SONDRA M. BURKART

Sondra M. Burkart, age 55, of N6423 Willow Road, Sheboygan Falls, Wis., passed away early Tuesday morning, Jan. 19, 2010.

Sondra was born June 4, 1954 in Sheboygan, Wis., a daughter of Lorraine Krueger Stahl and the late LeRoy Stahl. She graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1972.

On Sept. 30, 1972, she married Ronald G. Burkart at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sheboygan Falls. The couple have resided in Sheboygan Falls since their marriage.

She enjoyed crafts, gardening, feeding the birds and spending time with friends and family, with frequent trips up north. Most of all, she enjoyed the precious time spent with her children and grandchildren.

Sondra is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Ron of Sheboygan Falls; three daughters: Dawn (Eric) Vogel of Madison, Wis.; Kelly (Kevin) Klahn of Plymouth, Wis.; and Amanda Burkart (fiancé, Chad Leider) of Fredonia, Wis.; three grandchildren: Cody and Cali Lensmire of Plymouth, Wis., and Jason Vogel of Madison, Wis.; two step grandchildren, Ashley and Anthony Klahn of Elkhart Lake, Wis.; two four-legged sons, Kessler and Scooby; her mother, Lorraine Stahl of Sheboygan Falls, Wis.; two sisters, Dale Ann (Allen) Ehlenbeck of Elkhart Lake, Wis., and Lori (Rick) Herriges of Sheboygan Falls, Wis.; two brothers, Greg (Merita) Stahl of Evergreen Park, Ill., and Randy Stahl (special friend, Jodi Christel) of Sheboygan Falls, Wis.; four brothers-in-law: Joe (Lynda) Burkart of Houghton, La.; Donald (Mary) Burkart of Sheboygan Falls, Wis.; Neil (Sharon) Burkart of Plymouth, Wis., and Nathan (Patti) Burkart of Plymouth, Wis.; and four sisters-in-law: Darla Maratik of Kiel, Wis.; Darlene (Jerry) Faust of Kiel, Wis.; Debra (James) Roitt of Plymouth, Wis., and Mary (David) Rank of Plymouth, Wis. She is further survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Sondra was preceded in death by her father, LeRoy and one brother, Ronnie Stahl and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joseph and Helena Burkart.

Private family services will be held at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.

A memorial fund is being established in Sondra’s name.
