State 23 corridor study online
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation northeast region office at Green Bay has set up a Web site for the State 23 corridor preservation study in Sheboygan County.
The study can be accessed at www.dot.wi.gov/projects/neregion/wis23corridorstudy/index.htm.
State 23 between State 32 and County PP in Sheboygan County is a 10-mile long four-lane divided expressway with at-grade intersections. The preservation study will look to develop alternatives that will be needed to convert this section of State 23 to a freeway.
Mapping for the study should be completed sometime in 2011. No construction is planned at this time in conjunction with the study, according to the DOT Green Bay office.
