Tiger JV girls lose to Oostburg

HOWARDS GROVE – The Howards Grove Tigers fell behind 12-3 at halftime as they lost to visiting Oostburg, 26-18, in a junior varsity girls basketball game Jan. 19.

Howards was hurt by 18 turnovers and only 4-for-17 foul shooting in the Central Lakeshore Conference contest. Brittney Finnell led the Tigers in scoring with six points. Jocelyn Stemper tallied a team-high eight for Oostburg.

Hayley Rickmeier paced Howards in rebounds with 10 and steals, three.
