North High dance team wins state Hip Hop division

On Saturday, Jan. 23, the Sheboygan North High School JV Dance team competed in their state competition, held at Wausau West High School in Wausau. After the daylong competition, the North JV Dance team was crowned the State Champions in the Hip Hop division.

The nameplate on the first-place trophy reads, “Wisconsin Association of Cheer/Pom Coaches, State Junior and Middle School Dance Championships, First Place JV Hip Hop.”

Vicki Rautmann, North High JV Dance team coach, reflected, “This is the 1st time North JV ever won state first place hip-hop!”
