Abby Zorn and Ryan Risse exchanged marriage vows Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at St. Cloud Catholic Parish, St. Cloud. The Rev. Wayne Bittner performed the 1:30 p.m. double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Patrick and Linda Zorn of Elkhart Lake. She was presented in marriage by her father, to the son of Terry and Rachel Risse of Elkhart Lake.
Music for the nuptials was provided by Mary Calvey and Lori Luther.
Readings were performed by Shana Risse, sister of groom, of Madison and Kelly Schaefer, cousin of bride, of Plymouth.
Amanda Neils, friend of the bride, of Lombard, Ill., served as maid of honor. Attendants were Alison Mueller of Plymouth, Minn.; Brenda Dahm of Freeport, Ill.; Lindsey Hazen of Byron, Wyo.; Allison Pilak of Boise, Idaho, and Megan McKinney of South Milwaukee, all friends of the bride.
Ryan Fulcer of Elkhart Lake served as best man. Attendants were Troy Risse, cousin of groom, of Slinger; and Tim Rautmann of Milwaukee, Grant Stecker of Elkhart Lake, Matt Davis of Monroe, and Bill Tatro of Prior Lake, Minn., all friends of groom.
Ushering duties were shared by Derek Feldmann and Peter Prahl, both of Elkhart Lake.
The reception and dinner were held at Millhome Supper Club, Kiel.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah High School; and 2007 and 2009 graduate of Carroll University with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She is employed by Extendicare at Cedar Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center, Cedarburg, as a physical therapist.
Her husband is a 2002 graduate of Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah High School, and 2006 graduate of University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a Bachelor of Science degree in ornamental horticulture. He is employed by Northouse Landscape Co. of Milwaukee as an assistant production manager.
A honeymoon trip was taken to Disney World. The couple reside at Mequon.
