Basket-in-a-night class offered
Plymouth Community Education and Recreation again is offering a chance for people to make a basket in one night.
The simple weave basket will measure approximately 8 inches across by 10 inches high and would be great for potpourri or goodies. The design is made of reed with different widths, with curls added after the basket is completed.
The course will be taught by Kathy Plahmer from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, in Room C105 at Plymouth High School, 125 Highland Ave.
Registration deadline is Thursday, Feb. 4, so that supplies may be ordered.
Participants will need scissors sharp enough to cut reed, spring clothespins, a small flat screwdriver, measuring tape, a spray bottle, an old towel and a water pail or plastic dishpan large enough to hold 2 gallons of water.
