Montaba couple gets QQO Golf ownership
ELKHART LAKE – Tom and Lynn Wiese announced recently that they have transferred majority ownership of Quit-Qui-Oc Golf Club to their daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Todd Montaba.
The Wiese family has owned and operated Quit-Qui-Oc Golf Club for the past 55 years.
Carl and Edna Wiese bought the original nine-hole course in 1955 – expanding it to 18-holes in 1961. In 2002, the facility opened a third nine (Glacial Nine) and learning center.
“We are grateful for all the support and friendship extended the business over the years by our many loyal customers at the golf course and restaurant,” Tom Wiese said.
As this business moves into its third generation of Wiese family ownership, we are confident that Todd and Rachel’s experience and enthusiasm will result in Quit-Qui-Oc being able to offer a first-rate golf and dining experience for years to come.”
