NINNEMAN

James Clarence Ninneman, age 62, of Milwaukee, Wis., passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.

He was born March 4, 1947 in Menomonee, Mich., a son of Clarence L. Ninneman and the late Joyce Ellison Ninneman. He attended Holy Name Grade School in Sheboygan and St. George Grade School in Six Corners and graduated from Random Lake High School in 1965.

He attended Milwaukee School of Cosmetology and served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1967 in Korea.

He owned and operated a beauty shop in Belgium for many years and then worked for AT&T in Milwaukee before retiring.

Survivors include his domestic partner for 35 years, Dan Welch of Milwaukee; his father, Clarence Ninneman of Stevens Point, his stepfather, Nick Steinmetz of Kiel; four sisters: Lila (Keith) Andrews of Plymouth, Janet (Jerry) Beck of Random Lake, Mary (Fred) Sepstead of Random Lake and Margaret (Dan) Miller of Oostburg; four brothers: Terry (Edna) Ninneman of Fond du Lac, Thomas (LaVern) Ninneman of Adell, Robert (Mary) Ninneman of Maryland and Jon (Margie) Ninneman of Random Lake; 33 nieces and nephews; 39 great nieces and nephews; four great-great nieces and nephews; and also survived by many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Alfred Christensen, and his grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. Don Johnson, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah, will officiate. Cremation will follow the services and inurnment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home from 4 p.m. Thursday until the time of services.
