Circuit Court Report – Feb. 10

The following persons either stipulated to the indicated charge or had their cases heard in Sheboygan County Circuit Court. All information is taken from case documents.

Kenneth J. Sasman, 57, 1611 Ashland Ave., Sheboygan. $817.50 for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and with a prohibited alcohol concentration – first offenses, Aug. 1, 2009.

William L. Vreeke Jr., 56, N8120 Franklin Road 2, Plymouth. $132 and five days’ local jail for retail theft. On Dec. 29, 2009, Vreeke was seen by Loss Prevention personnel in Mills Fleet Farm acting suspiciously. First, Vreeke selected a rabbit fur hat, removed the tags from the hat, and then continued to shop while holding it. In the camping aisle, he picked up a metal flask, which was later located in his pocket, and then removed the tags from a dog collar and placed it in his pocket. As he headed toward the front of the store, he placed the fur hat on his head and walked out without paying for the items, which were valued at less than $80.

Laura F. Hart, 22, 828 N. Water St. 8, Sheboygan. $279.10, seven days’ local jail, and 18 months’ probation for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, June 26, 2009.

Randy L. Thiel, 49, 522 Millersville Ave., Howards Grove. $817.50 and one-year driver’s license revocation for operating a vehicle while intoxicated – first offense, Jan. 22, 2010.

Debra A. Tracey, 53, N9190 Hunter Court, Elkhart Lake. $1,635 for operating a vehicle while under the influence and with a prohibited alcohol concentration – first offenses, Oct. 24, 2009.

Emmett W. Barts, 71, 763 Jennie Drive 7, Plymouth. $1,635 for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and with a prohibited alcohol concentration – first offenses, Aug. 31, 2009.

Jabbar Thigpen, 37, 6990 N. 43rd St., Milwaukee. $124.47 and 60 days’ local jail, with work release, after revocation of probation – charges stemming from bail jumping, March 12, 2009.

Meredith C. Langan, 72, 97 Evergreen Drive, Random Lake. $2,165 for failure to yield from stop sign – causing injury and death, Sept. 25, 2009.

Samantha Marie Heinecke, 19, W3140 County RR, Cedar Grove. $1,042.50 for failure to notify police of accident, violation of absolute sobriety, and obstructing, Aug. 15 and 16, 2009.
