4-H- LIMA LITES – January

President Callie called the Lima Lites January meeting to order. Pledges were led by Collin and Jimmy. Roll call was “What’s your shoe size?”

Rachel Bohnoff then gave the secretary’s report and Abby Mauer gave the treasurer’s report.

Hannah Schleicher made a “get well” card to Bryan Schaeffer; she made one for Rachel Bohnoff and gave it to her at the Christmas party. She made a sympathy card to Becky and Gary Glander and family – they lost Gary’s sister, and to Derek Kaat and family for losing his grandfather. She made another sympathy card to Travis Freiburger and his family.

Schleicher made a congratulations card to Ashley Gulig of the Wise Wizards 4-H Club. Gulig was selected to be a member of the 2010 National 4-H Conference Program Committee.

Old business:

Barb Marten told about Community Builders. The club made valentines for the vets. We also had a “soda can tab collection” for Project Angel Hugs.

Jane Sukowaty talked about the pizza sales’ total. She said we did a very good job selling pizzas.

Rachel Bohnoff reported about the Holiday Parade in Plymouth. They decorated a truck for the parade.

Abby Mauer talked about the Sheboygan Falls Holiday Parade. They had Aaron Schleicher dressed up as a grinch in the parade.

Callie described the Christmas Party at the bowling alley. She said they had a mini meeting, then they got to go bowling with the bumpers.

Kelly Jens and Heather Reilly made a motion to give Ann Hand and Jen Humphrey a check for Music and Drama supplies. Music and Drama practices are held Mondays from 7:15-8 p.m. The play will take place at the UW-Sheboygan at 10:45 a.m. Feb. 20.

New business:

Pizza Night would be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 12. There was a new family night Jan. 26. New dairy books were handed out at the meeting.

The meeting was adjourned by Rachel and Collin. Talks and demos were done by Michelle Reilly, Megan Hand, and Zach Hand. Next meeting would be held Feb. 8.
