Adding up the pennies

Students at St. John the Baptist Catholic School conducted a Penny War earlier this month, with the proceeds going to purchase phone cards for soldiers serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. Helped by Sgt. 1st Class Todd Richter, teachers and staff weighed the pennies, which came to more than $400 worth.
