VICTOR F. KAMPMANN

Victor F. Kampmann, 94, a resident of Pine Haven Christian Home in Sheboygan Falls, passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 2010.

Victor was born Aug. 26, 1915 in the town of Lima, son of the late John and Marie (Ehren) Kampmann. He was a 1934 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School.

On June 26, 1943, he married Helen Bachmann in Sheboygan Falls. Helen preceded him in death Oct. 27, 1993.

Victor was employed with the city of Sheboygan Falls Department of Public Works for 20 years until his retirement in 1980. Previously, he was employed with Richardson Furniture Co. for 19 years.

Victor was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls, where he served as an usher and on the Holy Name Society. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus and the St. Mary Cemetery Association.

Victor enjoyed flowers, gardening, and spending time with his family. He was also an avid baseball and Green Bay Packer fan.

Survivors include four daughters, Rose (Robert) Moran of Sheboygan Falls, Barbara (Tom McPherson) Binkowsky of Sheboygan Falls, Sarah (Neil) Schnicke of Howards Grove and Sue (friend, Al Z.) Conn of Sheboygan Falls; eight grandchildren, Missy (Tom) Burgard, Scott (Maria) Moran, Richard (Karen) Binkowsky, Michell (friend, Ulrick) Ramminger, Jason (Sara) Schnicke, Heidi (David) Baumann, Nate (fiancé, Kerrie) Maertz and Valerie (Tom) Bonnos; and 15 great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Nicholas, Jacob, Eric, Luke, Austin, Emily, Andrew, Grace, Paige, Ella, Dominic, Bella, John and Kevin.

Victor was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; one sister, Marie “Mayme” (Charlie) Lorenz and two brothers, Henry and Art (Marie) Kampmann; and sister-in-law, Dorothy (Melvin) Kane.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with the Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Burial took place at St. Mary Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls.

Visitation was held at the church Monday until the time of the Mass.
