Police Report, February 20, 2008

Officers with the Sheboygan Falls Police Department arrested a 33-year-old man for violating terms of probation last week.

The man was stopped at the corner of North Main Street and Forest Avenue for a traffic violation. At the scene, the man was found to have violated the term of his probation by consuming alcohol.

He was placed under arrest and transported to the Sheboygan County Jail.

SFPD officers arrested a 53-year-old man last week in the 500 block of Golden Oak for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers with the SFPD arrested a 54-year-old man for third degree felony sexual assault after allegedly engaging in an unwanted sexual act with adult male last week in the city of Sheboygan Falls.

A 43-yearold man was arrested by the SFPD for domestic abuse, battery and disorderly conduct following an incident last week in the 400 block of River Oaks Drive.

SFPD officers arrested a 26-year-old man on a probation apprehension order last week in the 700 block of Redwood.

*** The SFPD is currently investigating reports of several businesses in the city receiving counterfeit money. SFPD Officers are investigating the reports in conjunction with the Secret Service Office in Milwaukee.

*** SFPD officers arrested a 27-year-old man on an arrest warrant last week in the 800 block of Acacia.

Officers with the SFPD removed a 40-year-old man from a business establishment in the 400 block of Broadway Street last week.

SFPD officers provided the man with transportation home.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested by SFPD officers on an arrest warrant last week in the 500 block of Hickory Street.

Officers with the SFPD arrested a 62-year-old man for disorderly conduct-domestic abuse, following a disturbance in the 100 block of Redtail last week.

A 55-year-old woman was arrested for bail jumping, under a no-alcohol prohibition.

During the disturbance, the man allegedly mad comments to physically injure female. The man was placed in jail with no bond.

The SFPD received a citizen report of the disappearance of two snowmobiles into a hole in the Sheboygan River last week.

SFPD officers located both snowmobiles stuck in the river near the 900 block of Broadway Street. The owners of the snowmobiles were located in the 800 block of Broadway Street.

Jesus Soto, 36, of Sheboygan Falls was charged with felony possession of THC (second and subsequent), misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle after revocation Wednesday, Feb. 13, in Sheboygan County Circuit Court.

The charges stem from a traffic stop conducted by the Sheboygan Police Department Tuesday, Feb. 12, in the city of Sheboygan.

The Class I felony possession of THC (second and subsequent) charge carries a fine of not more than $10,000, or imprisonment of not more than three years and six months, or both, if convicted.

The misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle after revocation carries a fine of not more than $2,500, imprisonment of not more than one year, or both, if convicted.

In addition, Soto faces a suspension of operating privileges for not less than six moths or more than five years for the possession of THC charge and not more than six months for the operating after revocation charge.

The Sheboygan Falls Rescue Department responded to the following emergency-rescue calls Feb. 11- Feb. 18:

• 1200 block of Huron Trail for a person who fell. • 800 block of Fond du Lac Avenue for a medical emergency. • 100 block of Concord Drive for a medical emergency. • 100 block of Redtail for a person who fell. • 1700 block of Mallard Avenue for a person who fell. • 200 block of Buffalo Street for a person who fell. • 100 block of Elm Street for a medical emergency.

*** The Sheboygan Falls Fire Department responded to the following calls Feb. 11-Feb. 18: • 100 block of River Meadows for carbon monoxide symptoms • Curt Joa for roof sagging due to snow weight. • 100 block of Oak Street for a natural gas leak (evacuation). • 500 block of Giddings Avenue for smell of smoke.
