Families invited to swim, watch movie

Plymouth Community Education and Recreation is hosting a Family Water Adventure Swim and Movie Day on Sunday, March 7.

Families can enjoy an afternoon of fun with pool adventure challenges, open swim and relays followed by the movie “Up” and popcorn in the amphitheater.

“Up,” a Disney/Pixar production, is about a retired balloon salesman who ties thousands of balloons to his house to lift off into the lost world of his childhood dreams — only to find that an overeager 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer has tagged along.

The swim will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m., followed by the movie from 3 to 5 p.m.

There is a cost for the event. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required by calling 892-5068.
