Emptying the boot
The Plymouth Chamber’s Downtown Business Association and Downtown Area Merchants held the 5th annual Hot Time in the Old Town event Friday, Feb. 12, and surpassed their goal of raising $1000 for the Plymouth Fire Department.

Firemen manned the fire barrels from 5 – 8 p.m. at eight locations throughout downtown Plymouth: Antoinette’s, Book Heads, DeO’Malley’s, Exchange Bank Coffeehouse, Fibber McGee’s, Plymouth Historical Society, Red Rooster, Studio 55. Additional support and hot deals from 10 a.m. – 8 pm. were at CJ & Co, Discount Ink, Sewing Basket, A Vintage Shop, Dear Old Books, Dreams Unlimited, Hub City Emporium, Flanagan Insurance, Bar-B-Q, Custom Craft Trophy, and Shoppes on Mill Street. People roasted marshmallows and hot dogs and enjoyed Sloppy Joes and award-winning chili.
