HGHS holding `Pause for a Cause’ March 16
The Howards Grove High School students annually have a community service project in which they raise money and donate it to a worthwhile charity.
It began five years ago as a response to the tsunami in Indonesia. Last year over $4,700 was raised and donated to Wisconsin Children’s Hospital.
This year the students have chosen the “Make-A-Wish” Foundation of Wisconsin as their charity. Their goal is to raise enough money to grant the wish of a Sheboygan County child who has a life-threatening medical condition.
This year’s “Pause for a Cause” will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at Howards Grove High School.
There will be a brat fry and other food sales including a large bake sale. Additionally, there will be games, competitions for children, gift basket raffles and T-shirt sales.
