TYA’s `Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?’ starts March 12
It’s a very bad day for the Big Bad Wolf when he meets three feisty Little Pigs, Little Red and her nononsense Granny in Theater For Young Audiences’ production of “Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?” by Tom McCabe.
Best suited for young families, the show will run under an hour with an intermission Friday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, March 13, at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.; and Sunday, March 14, at 2 p.m.
This Storybook show sponsored by Acuity and the Arts, the Grover Family Foundation, and Jos. Schmitt and Sons is directed by Atheana Albrecht and Mackenzie Birkey. Music accompaniment is provided by Josie Annelin.
The child audience and their parents will find themselves surrounded by colorful characters costumed by Annaliese Gahagan in a charming woodland created by Deb Sabol-Williams and Jamie Schroeder at the Sheboygan Masonic Mansion, 411 St. Clair Ave.
This comedy based on “The Three Little Pigs” and “Little Red Riding Hood” features Ariannah Albrecht (Granny), Sara Bartol (Porky),Willow Dodgson (Oink), Kaytlin Lampe (Mother Hood), Matt Matysik (Piedmont Pierre), Hannah Staats (Little Red), Jordan Toeller (Cornelius B. Wolf) and Quinn Zufelt (Bacon Bits).

A Piggy Picnic with the costumed characters will be offered at 5:30 p.m. Friday, March 12. The meal is hot dogs, fruit cup, carrot sticks and beverage. Twenty-four hour advance registration online is required. In addition, merchandise and baked goods will be sold as fund-raisers.
