FRANKLYN J. PERKO

Franklyn J. Perko, age 72, formerly of West Allis, Wis., currently of Plymouth, passed away on Tuesday morning, March 2, 2010, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center in Sheboygan.

Franklyn was born Dec. 31, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wis., a son of the late Frank and Angeline Bastel Perko. Franklyn married Muriel Sauer in July 1960. In June of 1995, he married Carol Olson. The couple has resided in Plymouth since Franklyn’s retirement in 2000.

He was owner-operator of Perko’s Lounge in West Allis, a business that had been in the family for over 70 years.

Survivors include his wife Carol of town of Plymouth; his daughter, Shari Perko-Carr of Plymouth; two sons, Scott (Chris) Perko of West Allis, Wis. and Craig Perko of Glenbeulah, Wis.; three grandchildren, Samantha Carr, Stephanie Perko and Frankie Perko.

Following Franklyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
