MIRIAM J. MILLER

Miriam Jeanette Miller (nee Happe), age 90, of Oconomowoc, Wis., died Tuesday, March 2, 2010, where she was a resident of the Summer Creek Family Household at Shorehaven in Oconomowoc.

Born in Black Hawk, Wis., to August and Bertha Happe on March 26, 1919, she married Edward J. Miller on March 2, 1940.

A dedicated homemaker, she also worked 10 years at Delco Electronics in Oak Creek, Wis.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Edward of Oconomowoc; and their six children, James (Irene) Miller of Boca Raton, Fla., Sandra (Frank) Thompson of Waunakee, Wis., Suzanne (Steven) White of Waukegan, Ill., Robert (Charlotte) Miller of Mukwonago, Wis., Marcia (Benjamin) Bohnsack of Marquette, Mich., and Janice (Darrell) Olson of Grafton, Wis. She had 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A service in her memory was held at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth, Wis., Saturday noon, March 6. Interment took place at Zion United Methodist Cemetery in Batavia, Wis.

Memorials may be given to Alzheimer’s Association, Shorehaven Health and Rehabilitation Center in Oconomowoc, or Zion United Methodist Church in Batavia.
