PHS girl of the month for January
Clare Witkowski was chosen by Plymouth High School to be the Plymouth Woman’s Club girl of the month for January.
One of her favorite activities was the girls swim and dive team for four years. She earned varsity letters all four years and qualified for the WIAA state competition her junior and senior years. She enjoyed those friendships and developed leadership, dedication and gracefulness in success and failure.
Witkowski was nominated as secretary of the National Honor Society and is a member of the Spanish National Honor Society, Student Council and Peers for Peers. She volunteered with the Toys for Tots drive for two years. She earned an academic letter each year and thanks her teachers and coaches.
Witkowski also works as a Spanish tutor at PHS and a swimming instructor at Sheboygan Falls.
The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse is where she will major in Spanish and communication disorders and eventually work with Spanish-speaking children as a speech therapist.
She is the daughter of Dennis and Nancy Witkowski.
