Public Easter service offered at Weill Center

A public Easter service will again be offered by the Evangelical Free Church at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 4, at the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Sheboygan.

Theatre doors open at 9:20 a.m., and early arrivals will enjoy a special worship prelude given by the Festival Handbell Choir from 9:40-10 a.m. in the theater auditorium.

The service will offer a variety of music, including congregational singing and choir, dramatic sketch, and an uplifting message by Senior Pastor Dr. Gary Hylander. Children in grades one-six will receive their own activity sheet with Easter-related pencil and paper activities to help them enjoy the worship experience.

This year the eFree Church is providing two childcare options: staffed care (at no cost) for babies through age 3 at the Weill Training Center room, 816 N. Eighth St.; and staffed programming at the Above & Beyond Children’s Museum ($2 per child) for children aged 3 (toilet-trained) through kindergarten.

The coatroom will be staffed before and after the service, and greeters will welcome attendees at the entrance, assisting those who need help in getting in and out of vehicles. Four drop-off spots are available in the front of the theatre and eight spaces are labeled for handicapped parking on Niagara Avenue.
