RUDOLPH W. BAACK JR.

Rudolph W. Baack Jr., 77, of 221 Wisconsin St., Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday March 11, 2010 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.

Rudy was born on Sept. 23, 1932 in Sheboygan Falls, son of the late Rudolph W. Baack Sr. and Anna (Backus) Baack. He was 1951 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. On Jan. 18, 1954, he married Barbara Repphun in Sheboygan Falls. Rudy was employed at the leather company in Sheboygan for many years until his retirement in 1994. Rudy was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls where he served as an usher.

He was a strong supporter of Sheboygan Falls High School, including the parent’s booster clubs.

Rudolph was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. He also enjoyed being a handyman, yardwork, landscaping and reading.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara of Sheboygan Falls; two daughters, Lisa Carlson of Sheboygan Falls and Julie (Chris) Eisfelder of Minneapolis, Minn.; one son, Timothy (partner John Sheaffer) Baack of Pewaukee; four grandchildren, Jessica Carlson, Maggie, Gabby, and Elise Eisfelder.

Rudolph was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, infant Roger Baack and Eugene Baack.

Funeral services were held on Monday morning, March 15, 2010 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls with the Rev. Mark Janzen officiating. Burial took place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established in Rudy’s name for the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center.
