KCU raises money for Children’s Miracle Network
Kohler Credit Union raised $4,800 through its Chain of Hearts campaign for the Children’s Miracle Network in February.
The money will support Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, one of more than 170 Children’s Miracle Network-affiliated hospitals across the United States and Canada.
The campaign raised funds through the sale of links; soup, bake and chili sales; and other employeesponsored events. The links that were sold included the names of credit union members and their loved ones remembered in a special way for the Valentine season.
Kohler Credit Union’s Chain of Hearts is part of a statewide fundraising effort of more than 300 credit unions. Nationwide, credit unions and their trade associations raise more than $5.5 million each year in support of the charity. Children’s Miracle Network hospitals serve families regardless of their ability to pay and treat children with various health problems.
