4-H Brave Bears March Meeting

The March 4 Brave Bears meeting was called to order by David Derus at 6:34 p.m. The American pledge was led by Caleb Rodencal, and the 4-H pledge was led by Nick Broder. Secretary’s report was given by Dakota Ortiz. Treasurer’s report was given by Emma Schuren.

Correspondence was received from Landmark Square retirement home thanking us for the valentines.

Roll call was taken by secretary Dakota Ortiz, and the question was “Do you have something that brings you luck?”

Old business *Dakota Ortiz spoke about the music and drama fest. We won first and most original!

New business

*Caleb Rodencal reminded us that our club bowling party is on March 5 at 6:30 at Odyssey Fun Center.

*Taylor Broder spoke to the club about our spring brat fry/ bake sale on Saturday, April 3 from 10-3 at the Sheboygan Falls Piggly Wiggly.

*Mrs. Ortiz thought we should have our own club project days on June 12.

*Laura Basch said we are going to have our April club meeting at Project Angel Hugs and then make a project for the people who have cancer.

Speeches and Demos Nick Broder did his speech on his skateboard. Taylor Broder did her speech on her violin. Tiffany Konrad did her speech on a flute. The March 4 meeting was adjourned by president David Derus at 8:41.
