LORA L. JETZER

Lora L. Jetzer, age 50, N 7479 Willow Road, Plymouth, Wis., passed from the loving arms of her family to the eternal peace and love of Gods arms on March 17, 2010.

Lora was the second-born of twins on March 12, 1960 in Sheboygan, Wis., a daughter of John and Hermine Schwaderer Kwekkeboom.

She was a 1978 graduate of Plymouth High School, and received her nursing degree from LTC in 1980. She worked as an RN at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital and at the Sheboygan Retirement Home.

Lora married her high school sweetheart and soulmate, James R. Jetzer on June 28, 1980 at Saron United Church of Christ. The couple resided in Howards Grove after their marriage, moving to Plymouth in 1993. Her crowning achievement, Ashley, was born on January 21, 1985.

Her faith and fight were boundless and for 25 years she amazed her family, friends, and doctors at her resilience and tenacity for life while battling various illnesses.

She found joy in playing the piano, quilting and learning cello. She loved a good adventure, canoeing, ATVing and being outdoors. She was able to fulfill her dream of raising llamas, building her dream home in the country and watching her baby girl grow up. Lora was and will continue to be so much more than an RN, mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She will live on in the memories and will be in the sun that shines, the rain that falls, the wind that blows and the flowers that bloom.

She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, James of the town of Plymouth; one daugthter, Ashley Jetzer of Madison; her parents, John and Hermine Kwekkeboom of Sheboygan Falls; her twin sister: Lisa (Doug) Drews of Sheboygan Falls, and sisters, Karen (Brian) Lowe of Florida and Kristine Kwekkeboom (Marc Weber) of Madison; one brother, Kurt (Cindy) Kwekkeboom of Sheboygan Falls; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Wilfred and Florence Jetzer of Sheboygan; her brother-in-law, David Jetzer and his wife Linda (a very special and loving friend who donated a kidney to Lora) of Sheboygan Falls; a brother-in-law, Tom Jetzer of Sheboygan; two sisters-in-law, Judy Dumke of Plymouth and Mary Jo Jetzer of Elkhart Lake.

She is also survived by two sponsor-children, Mary Elizabeth of India and Brian of the Philippines, along with many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Memorial services were held on Sunday afternoon, March 21, at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. Brad Veenendaal, pastor of the First Reformed Church in Sheboygan Falls, officiated. Cremation has taken place.
