FRIEDOLA D. DENGEL

Friedola D. Dengel, 89, formerly of Howards Grove, passed away Friday, March 26, 2010, at the Plymouth Care Center in Plymouth.

Friedola was born June 26, 1920, in the town of Herman to Carl and Emma (Prange) Dengel. She worked for H.C. Prange Co. for many years, retiring in 1983. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Howards Grove.

She enjoyed farming, gardening, and embroidery.

Friedola is survived by four nieces, Mildred (Louis) Wiegand of Cleveland, Marion Roethel of Howards Grove, Jane (Robert) Konik of Fond du Lac and Joan (Phil) DeMunck of Chicago City, Minn.; one nephew, Eugene (Helen) Rautmann of Johnsonville; other relatives and friends.

Friedola was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Hubert; four sisters, Elenora Nordholz, Leona Schomberg, Ovila Rautmann and Norma Dengel; and one niece, Helen Schomberg.

Funeral services for Friedola will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Howards Grove with the Rev. Tom Unke officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery following the service.
