4-H- Brave Bears – April

The April 8 Brave Bears 4-H club meeting was called to order by President David Derus at 6:35 p.m. The American pledge was led by Braden Ortiz, and the 4-H pledge was led by David Derus.

Secretary’s report was given by Dakota Ortiz. Treasurer’s report was given by Emma Schuren. There were no correspondents this month.

Roll call was taken by Dakota Ortiz and the question was, “If you were an animal, what would you be?”
Old business:
• Katherine Luther said that we had a blast at our club bowling party Friday, March 5.
• Emma Schuren said we went geocaching Saturday, March 20.
• I spoke to the club about our spring Brat Fry/Bake Sale held Saturday, April 3, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
New business:
• Mrs. Ortiz said our club Project Days will be June 12 at 10 a.m.
• Mrs. Bimmel said we will have our next meeting at Project Angel Hugs, and then help out there.
• Ari Schuren said we will clean up Rochester Park on Saturday, April 17.
Speeches and demos:
• Mike Bimmel did his speech on his science fair project.
• Nick Bimmel gave a speech about his electric guitar.
