Korean vets sought for Memorial Day parade

The Plymouth American Legion Ladewig-Zinkgraf Post 243 is making plans to honor all Plymouth area Korean War veterans on Memorial Day May 31. All of these veterans will be appointed honorary parade marshals for the Memorial Day parade.

Those Veterans who are physically able are encouraged to join the parade. A bus will be provided for those who need a ride.

The honorees will receive a commemorative keepsake as a memento of the day. The bus, which is not handicap accessible, will be parked on Main Street at Stafford Street.

It would be appreciated to have reservations made no later than May 3 to provide time to order the correct amount of commemorative pins.
