Resorters to 2-0 in CLC

SHEBOYGAN – The Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Resorters improved to 2-0 in Central Lakeshore Conference softball (2-0 overall) with a 3-1 victory over host Sheboygan Lutheran/Kohler Thursday afternoon.

Abbey Neils went the distance to earn the win. Neils allowed one earned run on five hits with five walks and six strikeouts.

Neils helped her own cause with one RBI. Katelyn Winkel also drove in a run for Elkhart. Emily Grunewald and Chelsea Watry scored one run each.

Steph Kemp had an RBI for the Crusaders. Jess Kanz took the loss – giving up two earned runs on five hits with two walks and five whiffs.
