MADELINE AMALIA BROTT

Madeline Amalia Brott, age 90, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, April 19, 2010, at the Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center, with her family at her side.

She was born in Sheboygan Falls on Feb. 20, 1920, daughter of the late Adolph and Alma (Wetzel) Schnell. She attended Plymouth schools graduating from Plymouth High School in 1938.

On Sept. 27, 1941, she married Clinton Brott at Salem Reformed Church in Plymouth. He preceded her in death Jan. 27, 2003.

Madeline was primarily a homemaker, but during her working years she worked for Lakeshire Marty Cheese Co. and also Sargento.

She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth. She had a passion for her Lord, studying Scripture and working on Bible crosswords.

She also enjoyed her family, embroidery, and becoming a den mother in Cub Scouts.

She is survived by three children: Rose Ann (Norbert) Perronne of Sheboygan Falls, Charles (Sharon) Brott of Glenbeulah and Richard (Carol) Brott of Plymouth; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Brott of Plymouth; eight grandchildren: Keith Brott of Plymouth, Rae Lynn (Jay) Bauer of Colorado, Gary Perronne of Sheboygan Falls, Mark Perronne and special friend Kendra of Sheboygan Falls, Cheryl Perronne and special friend Dale Crowder of Indiana, Jacob (Shanna) Brott of Green Bay, Rebecca (Michael) Ludington of Plymouth and Sara (Justin) Rosenthal of Plymouth; 16 great-grandchildren: Amber Craft, Koy Bauer, Courtney Bauer, Kyla Bauer, Alex Oakley, Madelyn Perronne, Kassi Rose Perronne, Dustin Korth, Stephanie Korth, Maxwell Ludington, Zoe Ludington, Izabella Ludington, Christian Brott, Nicholas Brott, Sydney Brott and Cody Rosenthal. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clinton, a son, Ronald and a grandson, Kevin Perronne.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 22, at the Wittkopp-Schneider Funeral Home in Plymouth with Chaplain Elyn Wheeler, chaplain with Aurora Medical, officiating. Entombment will take place Friday morning, April 23, in the Garden of Peace Mausoleum in the town of Sheboygan Falls.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
