Sheriff’s Report – April 21
On Sunday, April 18, at around 9 a.m. Mary Wondergem of Sheboygan was walking her dog on the path at Kohler-Andrae State Park when a red-and-white pit bull knocked her down causing her to break her wrist. The dog was on a retractable leash when the incident occurred.
The owner of the pit bull left the area after the incident. The owner was described as a white female, 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches, and weighing approximately 200 pounds. She left the scene in a dark-colored Jeep Liberty with temporary tags.

Orange Cross Ambulance was called to Kohler Generator on County LS in the town of Mosel at 11:19 a.m. Monday, April 19. A male, 56, had been involved in an industrial accident causing him to lose the tip of his middle left-hand finger. He was using a mechanical wire striper at the time of the accident. He was transported to Sheboygan Memorial Hospital.
