Favorite Plymouth teacher nominations sought

In honor of National Teacher Day, to be celebrated Tuesday, May 4 this year, the Plymouth School District is asking people to write a few words about a favorite

Plymouth teacher, past or present.

You can describe how a particular teacher made a difference for you, recall an especially valuable assignment, offer an overdue thank-you. The intent is to let Plymouth teachers know their efforts are appreciated.

Please limit your comments to no more than 250 words and email them to jpiontkowski@plymouth.k12.wi.us by Monday, May 3; put “teacher” on the subject line. Responses will be posted on the district web site, www.plymouth.k12.wi.us, in time for National Teacher Day.

On National Teacher Day, sponsored by the National Education Association, thousands of communities take time to honor their local educators and acknowledge the crucial role teachers play in making sure every student receives a quality education.
