Joint protection program at Cedar Landing
Rosemary Schrauth, an occupational therapist from Cedar Community’s Cedar Haven Rehabilitation Services, will present “Joint Protection for Arthritis” Wednesday, May 5, at 11 a.m. at the Cedar Landing campus, 101 Cedar Lane, Elkhart Lake.
Using correct methods and/or equipment can help protect your joints from damage and increased pain from unnecessary joint stress. Learn how to keep limber and pain-free while enjoying favorite summertime activities, such as gardening and golf, and remain as independent as possible when performing daily tasks.
The program is free and open to all. Reservations should be made at (920) 876-4050. Light refreshments will be provided.
This free education program is presented as part of the Arthritis Foundation’s National Arthritis Month.
Cedar Landing will host the Sheboygan County Arthritis Walk on its 14-acre Elkhart Lake campus Saturday, June 5. For details on other upcoming events, call Cedar Landing at (920) 876-4050 or visit cedarlanding.org.
