The big cleanup

More than 150 volunteers turned out Saturday, April 17, for the Chiro-Health Community Clean-Up to celebrate Earth Day.

The group assembled at Veterans’ Memorial Park for instructions, with Cub Scouts.

Tyler Bruggink and his mother Debbie Bruggink Phillips were among those grabbing garbage bags to fill, while Sarah Von der Vellen and Maggie Munson collect garbage that was then hauled away by the truckload.
