Sheriff’s Report – May 3
On April 29, the town of Sheboygan Fire Department was dispatched to 4305 N. 40th, town of Sheboygan, to extinguish a fire in an outbuilding on the property. The building housed baby chicks. Approximately 50 chicks were destroyed, 11 chicks escaped as well as three adult chickens. It is believed that the fire was caused by a heating light malfunction.

Warren R. Goetsch, 35, of 1047 Seventh St., Kiel, was transported to St. Nicholas Hospital following an accident on Garton Road, May 1. Goetsch was alone in the westbound vehicle when it crossed the centerline on Garton Road, left the roadway striking a power pole. The car spun and continued in reverse, crossing the roadway and coming to rest in a field. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Three people were injured May 1 in a two-car accident on State 23. Alisha Deda, 22, of 302 Walnut #A, Madison, was stopped on State 23 waiting to turn north onto County T when a car driven by Warren Jessup, 40, of 361 W. Division St., Fond du Lac, collided into the rear of the Deda car.
The Greenbush Fire Department, the Plymouth Jaws of Life and Orange Cross ambulance were dispatched to the scene. After being removed from her car by the Jaws of Life, Deda was transported to St. Nicholas Hospital along with Robert Schaefer, a passenger in the Deda car. Antoinette Jessup, a passenger in the Jessup car, was transported to St. Agnes Hospital.
No one sustained life-threatening injuries.
