With the win, Falls improves to 6-0 in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference (9-1 overall). The Falcons will battle the New Holstein Huskies for sole possession of first place at home this week Thursday May 6.
Although the Falcons allowed their first goal of the season in EWC play, the defense has remained solid during the first six games of the season.
Falls was led by seniors Brianna Nack, Marie Kettler, junior Lilly Rotter (goalie), sophomores Mackenzie Schnell, Allie Danneker, Kelly Jens and freshman Jensen Hamilton (sweeper) on defense.
After leading by 2-0 in the first half, junior Cassie Quirt tallied two goals in the second half and also contributed two assists to the lead Falls in scoring.

In the second half, Quirt started to heat up the scoring, as she centered the ball to senior Hannah Meyer at the 48-minute mark. One minute later, Quirt took her own shot unassisted for a 4-0 lead.
Campbellsport slipped in their only goal at the 59-minute mark
Meyer then returned an earlier favor, as she centered a corner kick to Quirt for an easy goal, to make the score 5-1.
“We did a nice job passing the ball with it being a windy day,” said Falcons coach Brian Mentink. “The team is starting to improve every game. They work together so well.”
The Falcons outshot the Cougars 29-4.
