Falls Police Report

Kristopher J. Mertes, 35, of Sheboygan Falls was charged with felony operating while intoxicated (fifth offense) in Sheboygan County Circuit Court Wednesday, May 5.

Sheboygan Falls Police Department officers stopped Mertes, after his vehicle was spotted traveling across the centerline in the 1000 block of Fond du Lac Avenue.

The Class 5 felony charge carries a fine of not more than $10,000, or imprisonment of not more than six years, or both, if convicted.

Randal G. Shinn, 34, was arrested for theft of money from a business in the 1000 block of Fond du Lac Avenue.

*** SFPD officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 100 block of Rochester Drive. Following an investigation at the scene, a juvenile female was referred to juvenile authorities.

The Sheboygan Falls Rescue Department responded to the following emergency calls May 3 through May 10.

• 400 block of Pine Street for medical emergencies

• 600 block of Forest Avenue for a medical emergency.
