EUGENE WILLIAM BUSS

Eugene William Buss, age 79, of Greenbush went home to be with his Lord surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in the town of Sheboygan Falls.

He was born on June 5, 1930 in the town of Mitchell, son of the late William and Odelia (Pitt) Buss.

He married Beverly Netzer on July 7, 1951 at St. George Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake.

Throughout his working career he drove milk truck for Lake-to-Lake Dairy and later worked for Sheboygan County until his retirement.

In his free time he enjoyed playing bingo and sheepshead.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Beverly of Greenbush; five children, Daniel (Denise) Buss of Plymouth, William (Marcy) Buss of Sheboygan, Connie (Joseph) Guttenberg of Sheboygan, Lorrie (Hector) Espinoza of Sheboygan, Stevon Buss of Sheboygan; 13 grandchildren, John, Tabitha, Kent, Matt, Le Anne, Angie, Janet, Tony, Alicia, Joshua, Holden, Lauren, and Ryan; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Walter and Roland (Linda) Buss; two sisters, Evelyn Buss and Mary Jean (James) Whalen.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Dale John Buss; three brothers, Elmer, Robert and James Buss; and a sister-in-law, Grace Buss.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 15, at the Wittkopp-Schneider Funeral Home in Plymouth with the Rev. James Hoppert, pastor of Salem United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial followed in the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Cemetery in the town of Rhine
