4-H-LIMA LITES – April

Our president, Callie Claerbaut, called the Lima Lites April meeting to order. Pledges were led by Ty Brink, Dylan Humphrey, Sam and Jordan Lapean. Roll call was your favorite holiday!

Callie gave the secretary’s report. Shawn Jens made a motion to approve the report, with Wesley Hanson seconding the motion. Ashley Meyer gave the treasurer’s report; Dylan Humphrey made a motion to approve the treasurer’s report, with Nadine Dragan seconding the motion.

Old business:

Collin Berke told us about the incentive prizes that were picked.

At the meeting, Pam Brink collected all the square fabric from everyone. She said that there would be a sewing class to put the quilt together May 8 at Berke’s house.

Jeff Schleicher went over the list in softball, and asked if there was anyone else who would like to join. He said the games would be on Monday, and our home field is Waldo Park.

New business:

They had people sign up for June Dairy Month, and started a committee.

Barb Marten told us about bingo that would be held at Pine Haven at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24. She asked for cash to buy the prizes for the bingo.

There would also be a clean-up day at Camp Riversite from 2-6 p.m. May 1. Members were asked to come and help clean up.

General leaders info:

Zach Hand handed out archery ribbons to Megan Hand, Zach Hand, Jacob Hand and Kyle Marten. Ashley and Callie played a game with the rest of the club.

The meeting was adjourned by Spencer Hanson and Alisha Lapean.

Talk and demos were given by Ben Claerbout, Ashley Meyer, Zach Glander, Anna Seifert, Spencer Hanson, Mason Miller, Collin Berke and Nadine Dragan.

Hosts for this meeting were the Dragan, Lapean and Glander families. The next meeting would be held May 10 at 7 p.m.
