MARCELLA C. SCHULER

Marcella C. Schuler, age 90, formerly of N7433 CTH CJ, Plymouth, Wis., passed away early Wednesday evening, May 19, 2010, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility where she had been a resident for the past seven years.

The former Marcella Kattreh was born Aug. 30, 1919, in Cedarburg, Wis., daughter of the late Louis and Edna Leonard Kattreh.

She came to Sheboygan with her family as a small child. She attended Sheboygan area grade schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1937.

On July 15, 1939, she married Howard Schuler at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.

The couple farmed in town of Rhine until 1961 when they moved to Crystal Lake.

Marcella was employed at the Kohler Company for 26 years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of the Kohler Company Quarter Century Club.

Her husband preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 1988.

She was a former member of the Community United Church of Christ in Elkhart Lake.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald (Sharon) Schuler of Plymouth and Roger (Bonnie) Schuler of Sayner, Wis.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Leslie Kattreh.

Private family gravesite services were held on Friday, May 21, at the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery. The Rev. James Hoppert, pastor of Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth, officiated.
