Falls golfers move on to sectionals

For the second year in a row, the Sheboygan Falls Falcons golf team took second place behind Kiel in a WIAA Division 2 Regional Tournament at Camelot Golf Course in Lomira, hosted by Campbellsport Tuesday, May 25.
Chris Bachmann led Falls with a 76. The Falcons were among four Eastern Wisconsin Conference teams that qualified for the New Holstein Sectional Tournament. Kiel, Campbellsport and New Holstein also earned spots in the sectional field.
Austin Williams led the Kiel team with 2-over par 74 and to earn tournament medalist honors. Ben Nesvold from Random Lake qualified as an individual by shooting a 78, while Tony Gonring of Kewaskum shot an 82 to qualify.
