Illegal immigration cartoon
To the Editor:
Once again I was very disappointed with the Review political cartoon. Had the editor or any one there taken the time to read the law,
all 13 pages online, you would have found that unlike the federal illegal immigration law, the Arizona
law has many safeguards against profiling of any kind. The federal law has none.
But who bothers to read the law or the bills in Congress – such as Eric Holder, attorney general of our country, or Janet Napolitano, head of Homeland Security, or even President Barack Obama before they condemn a law they don't like.
But I thought a “journalist” would take the time to check to see if the thing they are printing has any validity. But not when you don't like it; that is not
journalism. It is a sad state of affairs.
