JOHN P. BRICKBAUER

John P. Brickbauer, age 97, of Plymouth went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 2, 2010 at the Pine Haven Nursing Home in Sheboygan Falls.

He was born on Oct. 23, 1912 in the town of Plymouth, son of the late John J. and Magdalene (Fischer) Brickbauer. During his working career, he worked for Kraft and Borden Foods for 38 years, retiring in 1978. He was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Plymouth.

He also belonged to the Borden’s Quarter Century Club.

He is survived by his wife, Irene; two children, John M. Brickbauer and Cheryl (James) Zimmerman; four grandchildren, Kelly Sauter, Scott (Fran) Brickbauer, Jeffrey (Christine) Zimmerman, Cathy Zimmerman; and three great-grandchildren, Ashley and Jake Sauter, and Eric Brickbauer.

According to John’s wishes, John has been cremated and his remains placed in the Greenbush Cemetery. Wittkopp-Schneider Funeral and Cremation Service of Plymouth is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be sent through www.wittkoppschneider.com.
