Can drive time at SMS

The St. Mary School Student Service Council recently held an aluminum can drive, which netted a total of 11,656 cans. Each classroom was given three weeks to collect cans. The classroom turning in the most cans captured the contests traveling trophy. The firth and sixth grade class took home top honors by collecting a total of 4,767 cans. First and second grade students netted 4,581 cans, followed by kindergarten, third and fourth grade, with 1,734 cans and first and second grade, with 574 cans. The SMS Student Service Council which collected $170.55 from the can drive would like to thank all the classrooms and the Krueger family for hauling the cans.
