Alumni invited to join speakers’ bureau

Plymouth High School is putting together an alumni speakers bureau of former students willing to talk to current students about their areas of expertise or interest.

Dena Budrecki, the library and media specialist at Plymouth High School who is setting up the speakers bureau, has heard from numerous alumni willing to participate.

Alumni can sign up to share knowledge and experiences that would relate to learning in the classroom. Teachers then would contact those whose area of expertise relates to a topic being taught.

Alumni then can speak to students via Skype, which allows users to make phone calls over the Internet.
