I-43 event-only ramp work to start Monday
Work will start on the Interstate 43 event-only interchange in the town of Mosel Monday, June 14, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation regional office in Green Bay.
Motorists are advised there will be occasional lane restrictions on I-43. Work is scheduled for completion by July 24.
The contractor is James Peterson Sons, Inc., Medford.
The $671,000 project includes the construction of an on ramp to southbound I-43 at Rowe Road. The ramp will provide an additional exit for major golf events at Whistling Straits, such as the upcoming PGA Championship in August 2010.
