Musical Plymouth
To the Editor:
Someone said to me in City Park last Thursday at the first band concert for the season that Plymouth truly is hometown USA, and I would agree. What a perfect evening it was and everyone did a terrific job!
Thank you to Branden Mueller, director, and the approximately 60-some members (high school students to senior citizens) of the Plymouth Municipal Band who volunteer their time and talents to add so much to our community. It is a valuable asset to our city to have a city band, bringing together families, friends, neighbors, and generations to enjoy good, wholesome entertainment.
I also want to take this opportunity to add that I am proud of Jason Sebranek and the 181 young people in the Plymouth High School Marching Band. They did a fantastic job Memorial Day, in the parade and at the ceremony at the cemetery! The multiple activities for that day are just another example of why Plymouth is a great place to live.
There are many others as well that go on throughout the year, and music is a part of nearly all. Thanks to everyone who volunteers their time to make it all happen.
Music is one of the finest attributes of our city, and it is part of who we are as a community. For this and many other reasons, we are blessed to live here.
