Sheriff’s Report – June 23

While riding his ATV on a track behind his house June 18, Travis Schmidt, 17, of N3033 Bates Road, attempted a jump and landed incorrectly causing him to be ejected from the ATV.

Schmidt, who is an experienced rider, was wearing safety equipment at the time of the accident. He was transported by a private party to Plymouth Urgent Care with an arm injury.

Andrew Harder, 24, of N7400 B County J, Plymouth, was involved in a one-car accident June 18 on County A and Main Street about 9:38 p.m. Harder was eastbound on County A when his 2000 Audi entered the south shoulder causing him to veer to the left, cross County A and enter a ditch. He struck a driveway at W4036 County A, went airborne landing in a yard at W4022 County A, continued eastbound before striking a utility pole before coming to a rest.

Harder caused damage to the yard and flower planter at the W4022 County A address. Harder was cited for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
