County seeking individuals to fill Glacierland Council vacancies

Sheboygan County Administrator Adam Payne is seeking interested persons residing within Sheboygan County to apply for one full member position and one alternate member position, each serving three year terms, on the Glacierland Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) Council. The Council usually holds meetings on the fourth Friday of the months of January, April, July and October from 9 a.m. till noon in Chilton, Wis.

Glacierland RC&D is a non-profit, grass-roots organization that addresses the social, environmental and economical concerns of northeast Wisconsin. Its primary focus is the conservation, development and utilization of area resources. The goals of Glacierland RC&D are 1) assure the quality of the natural resource base for future generations; 2) provide area citizens with an alternative, healthy, and satisfying place to live, work and play; and 3) improve the standard of living, quality of life and provide adequate incomes for all residents.

The County Administrator’s appointments are confirmed by the Sheboygan County Board of Supervisors.

Applicants should send a letter of interest and brief resume to the attention of County Administrator Adam Payne at the Sheboygan County Administration Building, 508 New York Ave., Sheboygan, WI 53081. Applications must be received no later than Wednesday, July 7, 2010.
