And the top duck is…

A total of 2,800 competitors battled for the top prize in the 22nd annual Sheboygan Falls Chamber-Main Street Ducktona 500 duck race on the Sheboygan River Sunday, July 4th. Coming home in first place was the duck of Waldo’s Brian Triphan, who pocketed $1,000. Second place went to Katy George Torbati of Sheboygan $500, Debbie Kamzerzek placed third $250 and David Berg of Sheboygan took fourth place $100. A friendly breeze and a steady current yielded a swift race with most ducks crossing the finish line in five to seven minutes.
